CT Epoxy Floors has been installing professional floor coatings across Connecticut since 2008.
Free On-Site EstimateWe work on garages, basements, commercial spaces, and industrial facilities — anywhere there's a concrete floor that can be made to perform better and look better. Floor coatings fail when the preparation is skipped. We've seen it countless times — a floor that looked great for six months and then peeled because nobody ground the slab first. Every CT Epoxy Floors installation starts with industrial diamond grinding, crack repair, and a proper assessment of your slab before any coating is applied. That's what we've built our reputation on, and it's why our floors last.
Our garage floor systems use a decorative chip finish — a thick base coat, color chip broadcast, and a clear protective topcoat — that resists oil, salt, chemicals, and hot tire marks. For basements, we use coating systems formulated for below-grade conditions and include moisture assessment as part of every installation. We bring color samples to every estimate so you can see the options in real scale before committing.
Our metallic floor systems create three-dimensional finishes using pigmented, self-leveling material that forms organic patterns during installation. The effect can look like poured metal, polished stone, or flowing color — and no two floors are ever identical. These finishes are popular for high-end garages, fitness spaces, retail boutiques, and commercial showrooms. Custom color blends are available, and we can embed logos or graphic elements directly into the floor for commercial clients.
We install floor coating systems for auto repair shops, dealerships, warehouses, restaurants, retail spaces, medical offices, and schools throughout Connecticut. Commercial jobs are quoted and specified based on your actual space and usage requirements — not a one-size-fits-all rate. We work nights and weekends when needed to minimize operational disruption, and we coordinate directly with general contractors and facility managers.
For facilities with heavy equipment, fork truck traffic, or chemical exposure, we install heavy-duty floor systems with the material build and resistance ratings to handle those conditions. Industrial floor specifications are developed based on your site's actual demands — load ratings, chemical exposure profile, and return-to-service timeline all factor in.
Polished concrete is one of the most durable and cost-effective flooring options available. We grind the existing slab through progressively finer diamond tooling to the sheen level you want, then apply a densifier to harden and protect the surface. The finished floor never needs waxing, holds up to heavy foot traffic, and qualifies for LEED credits on commercial projects. A great choice for retail, office, schools, and large commercial spaces.
We offer standalone surface preparation including diamond grinding, crack injection, spall repair, and old coating removal — for clients who are applying their own materials or installing other flooring types over the concrete. We also repair damaged concrete surfaces: cracks, spalls, and worn areas are rebuilt before any coating or finish is applied.
